All children can and deserve to learn; it is our job to find the way they learn best. When children don’t learn, it isn’t their fault; it is our job to teach differently. Reading is the key to success. If a child can read, he can teach himself anything.
“Let us help you be your child’s best advocate.”

Westchester Educational Services
All children are unique and should be taught using techniques that meet his/her learning styles. Children who face difficulty in learning due to learning differences have the right to an appropriate education. As educators, it is our job to employ a variety of multi-sensory teaching methods to meet their needs.
I started Westchester Educational Services because I have a passion for helping all children learn successfully, regardless of learning differences. I have been doing this for 25+ years, and there is no greater pleasure for me than seeing a child who radiates the self-confidence and pride that comes with learning. By identifying a student’s strengths and learning weaknesses, advocating for their specific needs in their schools and through individualized tutoring, I have supported so many students and families in their educational journeys.
Employing many approaches and programs, I actively and relentlessly work to provide your child with a multifaceted plan of action. My extensive experience using gold standard programs such as Orton-Gillingham, PAF, Wilson, Lindamood-Bell, LETRS for Early Childhood Educators, Kilpatrick’s Equipped for Reading Success, Writing Revolution, Diana King’s Writing Skills, Touch Math, Woodin Math and more, ensures that I will leave no stone unturned when it comes to finding the best methods for teaching your child.
As an educational, non-attorney, advocate, I work collaboratively with you and your school to design an instructional program that is tailored to your child’s needs. My extensive experience in public and private education enables me to effectively help you communicate with your school. A non-attorney educational advocate’s job is to assist you with navigating all aspects of your child’s education and help YOU learn to advocate for your child. Advocates can help you ensure your child’s needs are met in the classroom and within building level supports, special education, speech and language, OT, PT and other related services. If your child has been classified, I can evaluate his/her Individualized Education Plan (IEP) to ensure it is appropriate. This is accomplished by meeting your child and developing goals that are SMART (which means Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound.) Effective goals should be written so that progress is measurable, easy for teachers to “progress monitor” and share results with you.
